The VANTEC-218 bass system incorporates the legendary 18LX low-frequency transducer with a 4” voice coil mounted as a direct radiator in a bass-reflex cabinet. The speaker is protected by a heavy-duty steel grille sealed against corrosion using a powder coat finish. The VANTEC-218 was designed for use in bi-amplified systems. A top located pole mount socket allows mounting full range systems above the VANTEC-218. Handles on the sides and rear of the case, along with two wheels located at the rear, make it easy to move the case.
